About me

Singer-songwriter Randy Condor Williams makes healing music that infuses folk, rock, soul to speak truth to power. His purpose is to tune in to the frequency of peace and set it to music.

Raised near one of the world’s largest military installations during the height of the drug war, Randy Condor Williams saw his share of hardship and loss. He found early in life that even in the darkest places, music has the bonding power to heal all wounds. Divinely inspired by a string performance of “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” at his school, Randy picked up the violin at 10, and was never seen without an instrument since. Through bass clarinet and piano, he found his musical home in the guitar.

With a taste for songwriting and authentic expression—regardless of genre—Randy’s early musical influences include Michael Jackson, They Might Be Giants, Van Morrison, and the many greats of Motown.

Randy has enjoyed much success with the band Mightier Than Me, winning Rock Band of the Year honors at the 2017 Carolina Music Awards and regular radio play. Their LP, “Information Age” gave them chart presence internationally.

Randy’s style has been described as intellectual, soulful, and delightfully subversive; with a sound that can barely be defined, other than to say CATCHY. Randy is currently recording his debut solo album, “Bonnie Doone” to be released one song per month in 2021-22. The songs follow a story of finding inner strength through traumas, heartbreaks, and letdowns.
